Estimate Make credits first, then compare a software bill with the value of time it might save.

Where will your Make credits go?
Compare scheduled checks, record actions, retries, and AI usage. Everything below is an editable assumption, not a current plan quote or measured saving.

Read the assumptions and formula
Checks = days × rounded-up checks per active day. Polling = checks × credits per check. Actions = records × actions per record × average credits per action. Retries apply only to action credits. The AI/other allowance is added once. Reserve applies to the subtotal. Compare all inputs over the same budget period.
Webhook-only removes scheduled polling, not event processing. Include any billable webhook-trigger work in actions per record. Schedule boundaries, branching, AI rates, and connection types can change actual usage. Separate AI-provider invoices are not credits and are excluded. This is not a dollar-cost calculator.
Official documentation checked September 14, 2026: Make credit mechanics and scheduling example. Replace defaults with your module rates and observed usage.
What is the time worth?
Enter your assumptions and select Calculate estimate. JavaScript is needed; no data is sent anywhere.
An estimate, not an income forecast.
Time value is not cash earned. Savings only happen if the workflow works and the freed time is useful. This estimate excludes maintenance, errors, taxes, learning time beyond setup, and any extra API or usage charges.
Monthly hours saved = minutes per run × runs ÷ 60. Monthly net time value = hours saved × hourly value − software cost. Setup payback = setup hours × hourly value ÷ positive monthly net time value.
